Level: Level 6 - ArtisanHi Deborah!
Welcome to the forum! It’s so great to meet you. South Arabia what a great experience! That country in on my bucket list, hopping to have the opportunity to travel there really soon!
What types of projects do you want to learn to make using your cricut machine? How we can help you on this process?
Feel free to reach out if you ever need any tips or just want to chat about crafting. Happy crafting!
Warmly,
Paula

Level: Level 6 - ArtisanHello Deborah:
In terms of Design Space, works the same for all the different cricut models, one consideration before start cutting is that you selected your model, in my case I’m using the maker as is showing in the image that I attached.
Also the joy has some limitations in comparison with other machines:
1- Make sure that you are using Joy Mats
2- Make sure that your pens are compatible with cricut joy
3- Make sure that your blade is compatible with Cricut Joy
4- Cricut joy makes in general smaller projects, is more frequent for doing cards, stickers or any vinyl / HTV that is for smaller surfaces/designs
you can adapt (reducing the size of the design) almost all of the projects that we have in the tutorial section to create them with your joy machine
Feel free to reach out if you have any other question or concern!
Warmly,
Paula
