Lesson 3 of 4
In Progress

Step 3: Applying The Design To The Wine Glass

1- After all the parts are cut, using our weeding tool, we are going to proceed to weed our text and hearts, after that you should have something like:

2- Now, with the help of our transfer tape, we are going to start transferring our text to the wine glass.

💡 Tip:  We separated the words wine and valentine because since the area of the wine glass has a curve piece, if we keep it as a rectangle is harder to transfer.

3- We are going to clean the area of the wine glass with a cloth and a little bit of alcohol.

4-  We are going to start with Wine word, using our scraper tool and/or our fingers we are going to rub the area in where the transfer tape is located in order to make sure that the vinyl is adhering to the wine glass.

5- After a couple of minutes, we can start peeling the transfer tape, carefully.

💡 Tip:  If you notice that the vinyl is still on the transfer tap, you can use the scraper or your fingers to rub the area one more time or until needed.

6- We are going to proceed with: IS MY  text and we are going to do the same process as what we did with the word wine (STEP 4 and 5)

💡 Tip:  You can clean the surface with alcohol as needed between each step.

7- We are going to proceed with: Valentine  text and we are going to do the same process as what we did with the word wine (STEP 4 and 5)

8- After the phrase is done, we are going to do the same with each of the 4 hearts.

9- And now…. You have your Valentine’s Day Wine Glass ready! You Did IT!
