How To Use Templates Feature

Design Space

Update: September 15, 2025

1- Launch Cricut Design Space on your computer. Sign in, if applicable.

2- Click the Canvas tab to open a blank canvas. Then click on Templates.

3- Choose the T-shirt option.

4- Then choose Adult Medium.

5- A standard Adult Medium T-Shirt template will show up on your Canvas. You can use this template to position and design your project.

6- There are also Legacy Templates. Legacy Templates have less features then the new templates. Click on Templates. Next, scroll down and click Legacy Templates.

7- Choose a Legacy Template, if applicable. For this tutorial we chose Classic polos.

8- The Classic polo template will show up on your Canvas. This template also shows the front and back but is not editable.

9- Experiment with other templates and how they work. Click on Templates > Coaster.

10- Choose a Coaster layout such as Round.

11- Resize your template by dragging the bottom right square or adjusting the size in the edit bar.

Crafty Club Points

Points
You earn points in two ways. The first way is by completing project tutorials.

Beginner = 10 Points
Intermediate = 15 Points
Advanced = 25 Points

Secondly, you earn Points when other Members like your posts or comments. 1 like = 1 Point. This encourages Members to produce quality content and interact with other Members in their community.

Levels
As you gain Points, you level up. Your level is shown next to your name and Avatar throughout the website.

Level 1 – 0 points
Level 2 – 15 points
Level 3 – 35 points
Level 4 – 70 points
Level 5 – 175 points

Level 6 – 300 points
Level 7 – 500 points
Level 8 – 1000 points
Level 9 – 1500 points
Level 10 – 2000 points
