1- Launch Cricut Design Space on your computer. Sign in, if applicable.

2- Click the Canvas tab to open a blank canvas. Then click Text.

3- Click on Text in the sidebar. A Text box will appear in your Canvas.

4- Click Operation. This will allow you to change the operation type to Cut, Draw, or you can select Guide.

5- Select/Deselect your image by clicking the Deselect button. You can also click off of your image by clicking anywhere in the Canvas. Reselect your image by clicking on it.

6- Click Edit. You can use the keyboard shortcuts or this Edit menu to Cut, Copy, Paste, Duplicate, and Delete.

7- Click Arrange. Here, you can adjust layering and Group and Ungroup.

8- Click Offset. Watch the Offset tutorial for more detail on this feature.

9- Click Flip. You can Flip your text horizontally or vertically.

10- With the Cricut Access membership you can Warp text.

11- Change the size of your text using the Size options in the edit menu. Click the lock to lock or unlock the proportions.

12- You can rotate your text by putting a number in the Rotate field. You can manually rotate your text by clicking and dragging the text box.

13- Change the look of your text using the Font menu. Click the dropdown to explore font options.


14- Use the Font filter button to locate Free and different styled fonts.

15- Font Style options are determined by the Font you choose. Click the dropdown menu next to Style to see your options.

16- Adjust your Font Size using the Font Size menu option. You can also manually adjust the size by clicking and dragging the text box.

17- Adjust the spacing between letters using the Letter Space edit menu. Negative numbers will decrease the spacing between letters while positive numbers will increase the spacing.

18- The Line Space options allow you to adjust the spacing between lines (leading). Negative numbers will decrease the spacing between lines while positive numbers will increase the spacing.

19- Click on Alignment to adjust the alignment of the text. You can also wrap the text for longer paragraphs.

20- Under the Advanced menu, you can ungroup letters and lines.
