Just a quick note today. I’m Pam from Northern Alabama. I got into scrapbooking and card making a few years ago. Had to take a pause for health reasons and just getting started back up. Boy machines have improved since my first circut ! So I decided to jump back in with a Cricut joy extra. Hope I chosen a good machine to start with! Never use the design studio before. Ready to take the dive in so please be patient with me and all my crazy questions. Looking forward to learning and making friends in the group.

    Have a great day,

    Pam

    Hello Pam!:

Welcome to this amazing community! We are here to help you and support you! and we are here to answer all your questions too!!!!

Joy extra is a really nice machine! You can do plenty of different projects in there.

With design space, my recommendation is to practice a lot, familiarize yourself with the different functionalities and how to use them, without any particular project in mind just playing around and also you can check the following tutorial that is a great place to start: https://craftyclub.com/projects/how-to-set-up-design-space/

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out!

    Have a great day!
