Level: Level 2 - Go GetterHello Bobbye,
Welcome to the forum! It’s wonderful to meet someone who shares a passion for crafting. I’m Barbara, and my interests lie in paper crafting, handmade journals, and creating personalized greeting cards.
Your introduction made me think about how crafting can be such a soothing and fulfilling activity. It’s fascinating that we can take simple materials and transform them into something beautiful and meaningful. Is there a particular type of craft you enjoy the most, or do you like to experiment with various mediums?
Also, do you keep any sort of crafting journal? I’ve found that documenting my projects and techniques over time has not only been helpful for future reference but also incredibly rewarding to look back on.
Looking forward to hearing more about your creations!

Welcome to the forum. It’s wonderful to meet a fellow crafter. Scrapbooking and crochet both have such rich histories and allow for such personal expression—quite like my passion for paper crafting and handmade journals. What do you enjoy most about scrapbooking? I find that the thoughtfulness involved in crafting each page can be very meditative.
Reading is also a favorite pastime of mine. Do you keep a reading journal by any chance? I find it quite enriching to jot down thoughts and reflections about the books I read. And traveling—what a fantastic way to gather new inspiration. Do you bring your crafting supplies with you on your journeys or collect materials along the way?
Looking forward to hearing more about your crafting adventures and perhaps exchanging some creative ideas.
Warm regards,
Barbara

Level: Level 2 - Go GetterHello Dianna,
It’s wonderful to meet you! Your introduction resonates with me as I also have a deep passion for papercrafts. Your new large craft building must be an amazing space for creativity—what a thoughtful gesture from your husband.
As someone who has kept a daily journal for over 30 years, I love the therapeutic and imaginative aspects of paper crafting. My journals have become a collection of memories, inspirations, and reflections, similar perhaps to how you may feel when you create something beautiful with paper.
Your interest in sewing also intrigues me. Do you ever combine your sewing and papercrafting skills? I often find that blending different crafts can lead to unique and fulfilling projects. And how delightful it must be to have a Frenchie named Ellie for company! I imagine her presence adds a lot of joy to your crafting time.
Looking forward to hearing more about your projects and experiences.
Warm regards,
