Step 4: Transfer the Design to the Canvas Flag

1: We are going to turn on our easy press to the following settings: Time: 20” T: 295

💡Tip: Make sure to read your materials instructions carefully.

 BE CAREFUL! Teflon sheets and Easy press are very hot! 

2: We are going to start with the base of our smile face and the USA word, We are going to place the teflon sheet, and we are going to start with the heat process: 

3: We are going to press and based on our material we are going to proceed by peeling the protection sheet, be really careful because the material is very HOT:

After removing the protective material:

💡Tip: While removing the protection if the vinyl is also being removed, you need to repeat the process with your easy press and heat the material one more time.

4: We are going to continue with the rest of the materials, always applying the same process:

5: We are now going to proceed with the flowers, we are going to use a hot glue gun to make the flowers, we are going to start with the one that has all circles, we are going to grab one of the circles and we are going to apply some glue and roll it, something like:

6: then we are going to apply like a smile of glue and we are going to glue the petal to the one that was rolled:

Then you are going to do the same with all the other circles, making sure that you are covering partially the previous petal that you glue:

Always repeating the same process until all the petals are done:

7: For the next flower, we are going to start by rolling the center, we are going to apply some hot glue in one of the corners and we are going to start rolling:

While rolling we are going to apply a little bit more glue so it stays:

After you roll all the center, you are going to have something similar to:

7: We are going to now start with the petals, so we are going to add glue on the base of our petal and we are going to glue them on the base of our center, for the first layer, we are going to glue 4 petals:

8: For the next layer, we are going to make sure that the petals are between 2 of the previous petals, and we are going to repeat this process until all the petals are glued together:

9: you are going to proceed and put together all the different flowers, you should have something like:

10: We are going to glue the base of the flowers to the canvas flag:

11: Our canvas flag is done!!!!!!
