Lesson 7 of 8
In Progress

Step 4: Transferring our Designs

For infusible Ink, we need to be very careful because if you move your easy press while transferring your design is going to move and is going to also be transferred to the “new” place.

1- We are going to grab one of our coasters and we are going to remove the protective layer that has on it:

2- We are going to turn on our Easy press and we are going to set:

Timer: 55 seconds

Temperature: 400 F

3- Now, we are going to start placing our design in the desired place facing the color side down.

💡Tip: For coasters we like to place a towel under the coasters so they do not move while you place the design and while you are transferring it.

4- We are going to place our teflon sheet or another towel over it in order to start transferring the design.

⚠️WARNING: Teflon sheet, and Infusible Ink ARE VERY HOT!

5- We are going to press our design so it transferred, when the timer finished, we are going to remove the teflon sheet by grabbing it with tweezers

💡Tip: While removing the protection with the tweezers, you notice that the color is not vibrant you can place it over again and user your heat press one more time.

6- You are going to follow the same process for the gingerbread coaster since you do not need to do any extra steps, just place the whole design over the coaster and transfer it.

7- For the rest of the coasters like the truck and the elf, we are going to do the transfer process in steps:

First press is going to include:

The second press is going to be with:

And the last press is going to be for the wheels:

So you can have the whole design:

8- After repeating the same process for all your coasters you did it one more time!
