Step 1: Creating the Design

1: In order to be able to start our Design, we are going to access our Design Space application and in there we are going to click on the + New Project Green button located on the top Right corner of our screen.

2: After we clicked in there, we are going to be able to access our Blank Canvas, in where we are going to start creating our Design:

3: We are going to upload the cliff image [DOWNLOAD IT HERE] by locating the Upload functionality on the left vertical menu, and in there we are going to follow the steps to upload the cliff and add it to the canvas. You should have the following image:

4: After you add it, we are going to flip it horizontally:

After you flip it, you should have:

5: Now we are going to use images functionality and we are going to search in there for:

• Reindeer (ID: #M101F9BD7)

• Pine (#M3AE536E6)

And we are going to add both images to our canvas:

6: Using the shapes functionality, we are going to add a circle:

7: Now, that we have our main elements, we are going to start creating our design. Since the idea is to have a full moon, we are going to resize the circle in order to cover most of the cliff:

8: We are going to place our reindeer over the cliff and resize it too, something like:

9: We are going to duplicate our pine several times, and we are going to start placing them over the design in different sizes, to have the sense of perspective:

💡Tip: You can add as many trees/pines and details as you want!

10: Once that you are happy with the design, we are going to select our moon (the circle) and any of the element and we are going to slice them:

After you sliced them, you are going to delete all the slice results and you are going to keep ONLY The moon:

After you delete the slice results you should see something like:

11: You are going to do the same process until all the elements are sliced. After that process you should have something like:

💡Tip: In order to be able to slice you can only choose 2 elements at the time.

12: Now, you are going to measure your physical glass, the one that you are going to etch. In our case is H: 4” and W: 4”

13: With the measurement, we are going to resize our design according to that measurement:

14: After you are happy with the measurement and the design, you are ready to cut it!
