Step 1.1: “I put a spell on you” design
1- First we are going to install the font that we are going to use in our design. In order to do this, you need to download the font that we are providing. After that, follow the steps that are showing on your device in order to finish the installation.
The font that we are going to use is called: Beautiful Dream and Magnificent Serif:
For MacOS, the steps to install the font are:

💡Tip: You need to make sure that Design Space is closed before installing the new font, if not you have to close it and open it again in order to see the font listed on your Fonts types in Design Space.
2- Now, we are going to open our Design Space, we are going to create a new project and in a blank canvas we are going to add 2 Pentagons by using the shapes functionality:

3- We are going to change the color to white and overlap them to try to form like a star, something like:

4- Using the score line, we are going to change it to a basic cut so it is not scored anymore. We are going to use 5 of them to mark the lines of the pentagon that is at the bottom over the one that is on top.

We are going to zoom in, so it is easier to add the lines into the design, and playing with the resize and the angles we are going to start adding them, one by one:

So basically we want to generate with the lines something like the red lines that are showing below:

5- Once all the lines are placed, we are going to change the color to the 2 pentagons to a dark violet:

6- Once all the lines are placed, we are going to select all the elements: 5 lines, and 2 pentagons and we are going to attach them:

7- Using the Images functionalities we are going to search by: bat and cauldron in order to place them in our canvas:

💡Tip: You can also search by the code/ID of the image, in our case the codes/IDs are:
- Bat: #M3AE536D3
- Cauldron: #M786603A

8- We are going to start writing our phrase we are going to split it in 4 lines:
- First line: I PUT
- Second line: A
- Third line: Spell
- Fourth Line: On You

9- We are going to change the font by clicking on one of the texts, and clicking on Font in the top bar horizontal menu, in there you are going to select System tab and in there you can search by the name of the font that we installed previously.

We are going to use the following fonts for each text line:
- First line: I PUT -> Magnificent Serif:
- Second line: A -> Magnificent Serif:
- Third line: Spell -> Beautiful Dream
- Fourth Line: On You -> Magnificent Serif:
After you change the font of all the different texts, you should have something like:

10- We are going to start placing all the elements inside our pentagons. You have to resize each of the components so they fit nicely. First we are going to add our 2 images, something like:

11- Now, we are going to place our text:

12- Using the shapes functionality, we are going to add some starts:

13- And … something is missing under: “ON YOU” text, so we can add another small bat in there:

💡Tip: You can add any other halloween image that you like!
14- After we are happy with the design, we are going to select all the elements in our design, including the pentagons and we are going to Flatten our design:

💡Tip: with Flatten functionality, we are changing the operation from Basic cut to Print and Cut.

15- We are now going to create an offset for our sticker, this is like a margin, so the machine instead of cutting from the border of our design, is going to cut from the offset border. We are going to locate the offset functionality, personally we like the offset to be: 0.12”, curved margins and we recommend always keep the weld functionality checked:

After you create the offset, by default the offset is black.

16- If we move to a side our offset, we are going to notice that there are some blank spaces, those blank spaces are going to be cut, in order to avoid this, we are going to add some small shapes (like circles, rectangles or any shape that you like) all over the blank spaces, and we are going to Weld them

After adding all the shapes:

After Weld them:

💡Tip: Every time that you apply and offset, take a look at the result to check if you want those parts to be cut or not. You can also change the offset color to any color that you want.
17- We are now going to overlap our design over the offset, we are going to make sure that they are fully centered, and we are going to attach them and flatten them.

18- We are going to check the measurement of our final design, normally stickers are 3” x 3”, so we are going to use that size for our design:

💡Tip: You can do your stickers bigger or smaller based on your design and preference.
19: After you are happy with the design, especially with the measurements, we are ready to save our design, Click on Save button on the Right Top side of the screen and provide a name to your design and click on Save button.

20: After this.. Your sticker is READY!!!! You DID IT!!!
Since when you print and cut, you are not able to print on the same sheet of paper again, we are going to provide a couple of cute images that are ready to be printed and cut so you can add to your design! BUT also, we are going to teach you how to do 2 more designs really quickly using the same functionalities as on the first design! So if you have any concerns, just check the steps that we did with our first design!
Step 1.2: “Happy Valentines Day” Sticker
We are going to apply some of the same concepts and functionalities that we used with our first design!
1- We are going to start our design by adding a Heart and we are going to add also the text: Valentines

2- We are going to change the Font to Aguellera:

3- Using the Images Functionality, we are going to search for a Free Banner

💡Tip: The ID of the banner that we are using is:

4- Using a rectangular shape, we are going to split the banner in half, by overlapping the rectangle over the banner and using the slice functionality the result should be something like:

We are going to delete the 2 parts as the slice result that we are not going to use.
5- We are going to change the color of our heart and Text to pink colors. And we are going to create a white offset over our Valentines Text. You should have something like:

💡Tip: You can resize bigger the design while you are working on it, and at the end of the design just reduce it to the desire sticker size.
6- We are going to rotate the 2 half of the banners and we are going to overlap them over our heart and we are going to change the color to a aqua / light blue color:

7- We are going to create an offset for the 2 half ribbons

💡Tip: Remember that every time that you create an offset you need to:
A- The original design needs to be Flatten or Print then cut functionality
B- Change the color to the desire offset color
C- Select the design and the offset and attach them
D- After the attachment, flatten them.
8- Using 2 small triangles shapes, we are going to change the color to the same aqua / light blue that we used with the ribbons and we are going to create the offset, we are going to add them near the ribbons, to generate perspective that the ribbon are rounding the heart:

9- We are going to add the following 2 words: Happy and Day and we are going to change the font for the System font: Arial Black

10- We are going to add the Happy word on the top ribbon and day on the bottom ribbon and we are going to change the color to white:

11- We are going to add 4 hearts and we are going to resize them small and change the color to white:

12- Before doing the final offset for the whole design, we are going to make sure that each element is Print and Cut functionality, if not we are going to change to that. And after that we are going to attach all the elements together and we are going to flatten:

13- Now we are going to create the offset for the whole design, by following the process that we did before:

💡Tip: Remember that every time that you create an offset you have to check the result and check if there is any blank space that you want to hide or to keep before attaching and flatten it to the design.
14- Lastly, we check the final measurement, and we are DONE!!! Great JOB!

Step 1.3: Adding Cute extra images!
1- Using the upload functionality, we are going to upload the following images:
- Tea_Cup.png
- Summer_Vibes.svg
- Floral_mom.png
- Retro_Spring.png
💡Tip: You have to upload them one by one, BUT you can select them all together in order to add it to the canvas. Also, you can use any image that you want, there is no need to have a SVG extension for the print then cut functionality.
2- After you upload them, you should have something like:

3- You are going to select each image at the time, resize it to the desired size and add the offset.
4- Remember to Save your project every time that you do a modification in order to avoid losing anything if something happens!

5- After that we are ready to start printing and cutting our stickers!
Step 2: Print and Cut The Design
1- Before start printing and cutting our design, we need to make sure that we are going to cut with the right cricut machine, in order to do this, we are going to click on Maker in the top Right Menu, next to Make Green button and in there, we are going to chose our machine, in our case we are using a Cricut Maker

2- We are ready to start printing and cutting, so you are going to click on the MAKE green button.

We are going to see something like:

3- We are going to click on Continue

4- When you click on Send to Printer, in here you select the printer device, the amount of copies. We are going to turn off the Bleed. And then click on Print.

💡Tip: Based on your printer, you should change the paper type by enabling System Dialog and also in your printer. In our case with our printer, only changing the paper type in the printer is enough.
5- Based on your printer, you need to add the paper on the tray, in our case, the glossy part of the paper is going to be facing down.

6- After the print is ready, we suggest waiting at least 5-10 minutes before cutting so the design is not affected by the cricut rolls while cutting.

7- When we are ready to cut, we are going to use: Vinyl Material with less Pressure

8- Once the Mat was uploaded, we are going to click on the Cut button and the machine is going to start cutting and you are going to be able to see the progress of the cut on your device screen.
For the print then cut process, the machine first is going to read the square lines that were added when printed, if you are cutting in a very dark room, we recommend turning on the lights.
9- After the cut is done, the upload/download mat button is going to start blinking, meaning the cut is ready, so you are able to download the mat from your machine and proceed to add the next mat following the same process.

Also, you are going to notice a check next to your mat on your device screen, so with this you can differentiate which mat/design was already cut and which ones not yet.
Step 3: Weeding
1- After the cut is ready, we are going to use our fingers very gently to remove the stickers. Once you separated all the stickers you are going to have something like:

Step 4: Use your stickers!
1- You are ready to start using all the stickers!!!!
