Hi!! My name is Janet and I’m new here.. I’ve had my circuit for over a year and have made several attempts to start working on projects but because I have no experience I keep messing up.. I became very discouraged and now my circuit is just sitting gathering dust.. I purchased a whole set up from a friend with enough material to start up a small business but have been so scared that it’s all just in my office in boxes.. I really want to start learning because I love crafts and making homemade gift for friend and family.. I’m a new grandma with a 2yo and another on the way and would love to be able make them all sort of things.. so when I saw this learning guide I said this is my chance to open up those boxes dust of the cob webs and get busy learning and making new things.. LETS GO!!!!!

Hi Janet, and welcome to Crafty Club, and thank you so much for sharing your story with us! We’re absolutely thrilled to have you here. 🌟

Firstly, let me say, it’s completely normal to feel overwhelmed when you’re starting out, especially with something like Cricut! That’s why we’re here – to help and support each other.

What model of Cricut do you have, and are you using a Mac or PC?

The best way to get started (and it’s covered in the guide), is to get Design Space set up correctly. we have a mini-course showing you how to do that here:

Let me know if you have any questions! 😀
