  • Tip of the day… My HTV/Vinyl is not being cut!

Posted by Paula on May 2, 2024 at 1:14 pm

I saw this post on another place, and several Cricut users also mentioning that this happen to them to, so I thought that could be good to share it here…

So basically this user mentioned that when she is cutting her HTV?Vinyl, is not cutting through the whole material (as you can see on the picture)

So this could be for many reasons:

1- Your blade is used and you need to change it (for intricate cuts I also recommend brand new blade)

2- You are not setting the cutting material properly, each Vinyl / HTV have different specifications, even the non Cricut brand

3- If you notice that the vinyl / HTV is thicker than it supposed to be, add more pressure to the cut

4- If you are using HTV, make sure that you are not cutting with the transparent / protective film side, that needs to be touching your mat

did this already happen to you? how were you able to solve it? Share any other insight if you already has this issue!
